Work on the evaluation of the RS 2400 X ray irradiator has continued with the manufacturer supplying us with an improved carousel system and new canisters, as well as making some other minor changes. Preliminary data on the level of residual fertility and normal adult eclosion suggest that there are no differences between gamma rays and X rays in each of the three species.
