Source Assurance Program
5SAP (Source Assurance Program) to buyer of the RS 2400 and RS 2500 buyers with an additional Rad Source owned X-ray tube stored on-site with the buyer's installed unit for immediate use should failure of the x-ray emitter fail within 5 years of unit delivery.
This program is designed to minimize downtime caused by tube failure.
In the event the installed tube fails for any reason, the buyer can install this tube and not be subject to time disruptions for logistical or similar cause. The failed tube can then be returned to Rad Source in an orderly fashion for inspection and repair, after which it shall be returned to the same location where it shall serve as the immediately available back-up source.
This program lasts 5 years from the date of DELIVERY of the RS 2400 or RS 2500.
The 5SAP program requires that the back-up source be provided electric power for maintaining tube vacuum and the tube is subject to adequate storage conditions (see general specifications for the RS 2400).
Actual shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.
